This is great and opens many doors to python projects in Fedora with EPEL9 branch!
A project that could not be build on EPEL9 with current hatchling and hatch-vcs versions is working as expected with packages from testing repo.
Focusing on the hatch-vcs, I've tried the same workflow side to side with F38.
hatch build,hatch versioncommands work identically to F38. rpmbuild also produced the same result and the built rpms worked as expected.This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
