I can also see the individual addons in the /usr/share directory. I'm not sure the linked issue is related, it seems to only affect alternate paths, not the /usr default scripts directory. Also the missing addons should be in the addons folder, the issue talks about a separate addons_contrib folder. \n\nI copied one of the addons (io_scene_fbx) somewhere else while I had 3.4.1 installed and reinstalled 3.5. With 3.5 the export options would again dissappear. If I added in the  io_scene_fbx addon into the default scripts/addons directory the FBX export option would appear again.
