I've noticed and reported this couple of versions ago, but seems like video stopped working in Google Meet. I found toggling
media.webrtc.camera.allow-pipewire
to false in FF sorted it! Is this a bug?https://discussion.fedoraproject.org/t/firefox-doesnt-find-virtual-camera-in-fedora-41/135787
"Firefox suggest" - in URL bar suggestions from history - no longer works (it did work in firefox-133.0.3-2.fc41.x86_64). And in some cases right-mouse-button on a href opens all possible options not fitting to the height of screen including irrelevant options like "play video" but even the valid options (like Open Link in New Tab) do not work. Please revert the update, it is not usable. Video stopped working in zoom.us after update f40->f41 but that is unrelated to this specific update.
Regarding video, you can try the following which solved it for Google Meet: https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2024-18bf137a0c#comment-3892545
I have already tried the
media.webrtc.camera.allow-pipewire
but it does not work for zoom.us.Please file Firefox bugs at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ under Widget/Gtk component. Will look at it there. Thanks.
@stransky I was unable to find Widget/Gtk in the Components list. But I have filed:
Seems we have a new build addressing some of the issues: https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/134.0.1/releasenotes/
