The initial issue described in #2228325 seems to be back, although the error messages may differ slightly. Attempts to authenticate lead immediately to a message stating "unknown network error" with error codes Workflow_TrustedChannel_Establishment_Error and Get_TcToken_Network_Error.
Downgrade to current stable version 2.0.3-4 fixes the issue.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Thanks for the report. This is what I get by assuming that if the patch applies and the software builds, the patch still works as intented. I have disabled the automatic push and will investigate.

Works fine for me again. Tested with "standard" USB card reader as well as smart phone with pin entry on either side.
Had to recreate coupling with smart phone because config file location changed from ~/.config/'Unknown Organization' to ~/.config/AusweisApp. Copying the existing file to the new location might have also worked.
