@leigh123linux I'm not sure if you need me to disable auto-push on Beta versions so you can sync with RPM Fusion. Pushes are freezed anyways, but it'd be good to know for future releases.

This update's test gating status has been changed to 'passed'.

Hey @jexposit, will you also build 24.2.2 for F40?

Hey @agurenko,

Since Fedora 41 will be released soon, no, I didn't plan to build mesa 24.2.x for Fedora 40. Instead, I'd like to stick to the stable version there.

Hey @jexposit, is it intentional that some mesa-packages (like dri-drivers or va-drivers) have a dependency[1] on the filesystem subpackage, while others (like vulkan-drivers or libOpenCL) do not? That can lead to partial updates of Fedora's Mesa packages when there is a conflict[2]; and I wonder if that can cause trouble.

[1] Requires: %{name}-filesystem%{?_isa} = %{?epoch:%{epoch}:}%{version}-%{release} [2] for example for users of the 3rd party package mesa-va-drivers-freeworld, which might be newer or older in the repos sometimes for a few days.

@thl, no, that's a bug and it should be solved by: https://src.fedoraproject.org/rpms/mesa/pull-request/52

If you see the error in other subpackage, please report it or open a MR.

@jexposit funny timing coincidence. Thx for handing this to everyone involved!

Per testing this does not fix the Pi KDE initial-setup bug, so dropping it from the bug list.
