Print preview no longer works on this build.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
what are the symptoms of "print preview no longer works" ? is it file, print preview in writer ? Does it fail to trigger into print preview, or is print preview blank (or doesn't show text but does show images)?
Apologies - I should have given a step-by-step and clarified what I was referring to.
1) Create or open any document in LibreOffice
2) Print (Ctrl+P)
3) Make sure the "Preview" checkbox is ticked
Expected result: A live preview shows up on the left side of the dialog box.
Actual result: No live preview appears; instead the page is represented by a grey rectangle.
Testing under VirtualBox and Fedora 38 image, then for me (with default gtk3 version) I get a working preview in the print dialog. This is a resizable dialog, does it make any difference if you modify the size a little? Maybe its best to turn this into a bug so you could attach a screen shot so I could try and figure it out.
Resizing the dialog box changes the size of the grey rectangle where the live preview should be, but doesn't result in a working preview for me.
(I'm running this on a bare-metal Kinoite 38-pre system with libreoffice-kf5 installed.)
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
I was able to reproduce with kf5 version, problem was fixed in trunk and its backported to 7.5 now. libreoffice-184.108.40.206-2.fc38 will include that fix for this
