Just to let everyone who tests this out know they should try MPV based players and VLC with 5.1 tracks and see if their channelmap behaves properly. In the Gnome sound control center sound test my front center came out rear left and LFE went to rear right. I was able to fix it by creating a virtual sink and remapping, the file I used is here if anyone has any issues and needs an example.

There is a new build with a critical fix for mpv (and others)
