Some of the openQA failures here just need needle updates, but the
install_default_update_live
failures indicate a real problem - the 'start' icon on live images built with these updates is wrong. It's just...a box with a line in it. See attached screenshot.Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Hmm, actually, it looks like that icon and the kicker icon have swapped places and sizes? Either way, it doesn't seem right...
I can reproduce the bug in a local VM and also on bare metal. The live image produced by openQA can be downloaded here for testing. The bug (everything on the menu bar seems to be reversed, in fact) is visible for me when booting the live image on a VM or on a bare metal machine. The bug doesn't seem to happen on update of an existing install - it's only apparent in a live image created with the updated packages, and when installing from that live image.
Although after the regular update everything worked as should, I can now confirm the above happening even in existing install: if one resets plasma shell/plasma applet config and adds new default panel, it will be reversed:

Work for me. Except the Thunderbird icon that turned into a W (Wayland)
The issue with the flipped panel applets is fixed by
plasma-desktop-5.23.5
.Tested by installing plasma-desktop-5.23.5 rpm from marcdeop copr and
rm ~/.config/plasma-org.kde.plasma.desktop-appletsrc

With the Wayland session, I found since updating, the panel freezes up after some time (could be 3 minutes, could be 30 minutes). The buttons are still responsive if the application is still running, but if the application was closed after the freeze, the button remains and does nothing.

@bobob it's unrelated to this update. it's a bug with qt5-qtwayland-5.15.2-17 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2022-09f6750812
