It's no better (and no worse) than the previous on my systems though. My laptops still cannot scan for Bluetooth devices in Fedora 36, just like in the previous version.

The scanning bug was related to the kernel. With this version of bluez and with kernel 5.17.0 rc8, Bluetooth scanning works again.
This update has been pushed to testing.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
With this version my laptop will wake up immediately after get into suspend.
I tried to disable bluetooth and suspend again. it works.
