All my Fedora 35 instances are VirtualBox guests so I cannot test this on bare metal. It seems to be routine that the timer-overhead test fails in VirtualBox with a failure rate of about 50% across multiple tests. Otherwise it seems fine.
I wonder if the timer-overhead test should be skipped in VirtualBox.
