@erack Would it make sense to be in sync with F35? If the F35-package will be pushed to stable and this not, it could be possible that a downgrade could happen with the upgrade from F35 to F36. So far as i can remember could a downgrade within thunderbird cause some trouble, but i could be wrong. ;-)

If more people would submit +1 karma here for F36 then the update would go through faster ;-)
