The size of the update broke openQA, which is why it was gated for ten hours! Sorry about that. I have hacked around it now.

Size of widgets plasma-applet-weather-widget and WebSlice became too small to see data inside widgets. Size of this widgets can't be changed as size of Network or Digital clock widgets.
If changing of widgets was locked with Alt+D,L before update (and can be unlocked) than after this update unlock with Alt+D,L don't work.
Also after this update sizes of windows (for example konsole or dolphin) became small instead of using of saved previous sizes.
This update has been pushed to testing.
Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
Works for me, no issues here.

@nucleo I can't reproduce your issues, it seems fine on my end...

To reproduce add Weather widget, configure OWM city https://imgur.com/a/5ULnvCN
Press on widget, see that popup size is limited https://imgur.com/a/9dqUoz4
Before update popup size is fine https://imgur.com/a/IsFjzSw
The same for WebSlice widget which have configurable popup size but after update this size settings ignored.

With plasma 5.26.2 the same problem with ignoring widgets popup window sizes.
Here WebSlice popup window https://imgur.com/a/r2BiUkr
Changing of Popup size settings has no effect https://imgur.com/a/Pm1H6gZ
No such problem with plasma 5.25.4.

I also experienced konsole and some other windows being reset to their smallest size (testing on f36 via copr). I can also reproduce your issue with widget popups. This is probably a regression after the changes that made popups of panel widgets resizeable by dragging their corners. You should report the bug to KDE directly...
I'm not sure if it should be a blocker.
Does anyone know what plasma component responsible for this popup size regression?
plasma-framework and/or plasma-workspace
Can't find how to report bug for plasma-workspace, so filed for frameworks https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=461171
works OK
Update notifications seem broken now: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2139092

For the weather widget issue, note that it does not apply to the Weather plasmoid that ships with Plasma, but only to the third-party Weather Widget plasmoid (https://github.com/kotelnik/plasma-applet-weather-widget).
With plasma-workspace 5.26.2 the xdg-desktop-portal is broken without updating the qt5-qtbase patch collection. It was already updated in rawhide as 5.15.7. Can we include that in this update? Alternatively, backport https://invent.kde.org/qt/qt/qtbase/-/commit/a7bd656cf40b0cf7ee7f96e6c59974804a4894ba to the current qt5-qtbase f37 package
@adamwill @ngompa @jgrulich
For completeness, the xdg-desktop-portal is also broken without this update, but it would have been fixed by updating to 5.26.0 or 5.26.1. Unfortunately it broke agian in 5.26.2 without the qt5-qtbase patch
is this just about the xdg-desktop-portal crash during sddm or something more serious?
No, it's not the crash in sddm.
It's xdg-desktop-portal starting too soon when logging into the desktop, with an incomplete environment. That means that every call to the portal goes to xdg-desktop-portal-gnome instead of -kde. Also any call that causes the portal to start a new process makes it also have an incomplete environment, meaning you get wrong Qt theming, cursor, possibly broken functionality... See the list of duplicate bugs at https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=460484
On the other hand, the too-early start only happens in the Xorg session, so given that we default to Wayland it's maybe not as urgent.
I don't know if this is related to this update, but all my windows appear off screen.
Any updates on this? Is Plasma 5.26.2 going to make it into F37?
It would help if people provided karma on general functionality. The current karma value is 0.
It's all good for me and has been for some time.
works good
