Dragging and dropping doesn't always work in the overview, e.g. an application from the list of applications to a workspace or to the dash, but I think that's been the case since the beginning with GNOME 40. I'm running on X, if that makes any difference.

Drag n' Drop seems... not broken, but different. Now it requires to click and hold still for a second before drag an icon around or drop it in a workspace. Everything else works fine.
I'm also running the session on X, nvidia and all that...

Looks like drag and drop of files and switching between window/tabs have become much slower.
