This is the final GTK 2.x release. There will be no more updates to GTK 2. All users are encouraged to update to GTK 3 or 4.

After installing this update, all nubmers in GNOME environment (like numbers in names of files, URL addresses) have been replaced by ´ and ˇ characters.
@jridky Hm, I have a hard time believing that gtk2 can break GNOME session like this because GNOME doesn't use gtk2 at all any more. Are you sure the issue you are seeing is caused by this update?
