gedit now works. Extension app disappeared in this update.

@atim, What was wrong with gedit before this update? The extension app disappearing is deliberate. It was moved to gnome-shell-extensions-app subpackage.

In previous 3.35.92 there was new Extension App and it was disappeared. Technical there is no this new Extension app after update. One more user confirm this as well.

Yes, the Extensions app was moved to a separate package. Just 'dnf do install gnome-shell-extensions-app' if you want to install it again :)

Ah yes, it's 'gnome-extensions-app' indeed. I believe it was changed because GNOME designers asked it to not be pre-installed. I don't know the details; fmuellner changed this. If you disagree with this decision, can you file a Workstation WG ticket at https://pagure.io/fedora-workstation and we can discuss it more there?

ibus indicator disappeared after restart gnome-session, have to re-open settings region and language

The latest edits should hopefully get pushed out to updates-testing soon. releng is working on this (there were some build system issues today that broke things). adamw also requested a candidate compose including 3.36.0 so we should get an iso image soon as well.

Yes, that's because the update is still pending and hasn't been pushed to updates-testing after all the edits.

Hm, okay. I tried to install ibus-1.5.22-4.fc32 manually and restarted the desktop. but no ibus running yet. and up after opening control-center. no changes on the situation.

I think you are missing the new gnome-shell build that adamw added above. https://kojipkgs.fedoraproject.org//packages/Fedora-Workstation-Live/32_Beta/1.2/images/Fedora-Workstation-Live-x86_64-32_Beta-1.2.iso just finished and should have the complete set of changes here, if it helps.

Thanks. yes, the input source selector at the panel appears on the above iso and works well. the basic test on ibus looks good to me.

$ rpm -q ibus gnome-shell
ibus-1.5.22-4.fc32.x86_64
gnome-shell-3.36.0-3.fc32.x86_64

Seems to work just fine (Tried basic stuff, used desktop for a while)
