Still suffers from random GPU hangs and crashes with Intel graphics.
Still running into https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1787026 on one of my systems
Works on baremetal (non EFI) AMD Ryzen5 3600, Mainboard MSI B450M Mortar Max with prop. nvidia driver from rpmfusion.org (GTX980 card), VirtualBox 6.1.2 from Oracle and Gnome-Desktop. Regression test passed (paxtest, selinux-dac-controls and libhugetlbfs skipped).
Works for me...
The Default and the Performance tests pass OK (libhugetlbfs is skipped) AMD 965, x86_64 work station, RAID-1, Plasma DE, X-server, nVidia card GTX 650 (GK107) + nVidia RPM's from Negativo17 (440.44)
This update has been pushed to testing.
This update has obsoleted kernel-5.4.11-202.fc31, and has inherited its bugs and notes.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes
Works for me (Dell Inspiron 5579 - i7-8550u / I620 IGP).
All default and performance tests PASS except for paxtest (when "allow testsuite to make their heap memory executable") libhugetlbfs was skipped on PRIME Z270-A, i5-7600K, 16GB DDR4 & RX 580 8GB with MESA 19.2.8.
Setting the MTU from Automatic to 1492 allowed me to work around https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1787026 on one of my systems
Works fine, default and performance regression tests pass on both my systems.
Default test: paxtest FAIL libhugetlbfs SKIP sysfs-perms WARN
Performance test: PASS
Hardware: Intel i7-7800X X299 Chipset (ASUS TUF X299 MARK 2) 32 GB DDR4 NVIDIA RTX 2070 (RPM Fusion)
On every reboot system hangs on black screen. System only start correctly on cold boot (turn off, and on)
still impacted by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1787026 on one of my systems and every single system I run a 5.4.x kernel I am still getting https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1782092
aarch64 - default and performance tests - PASS
CPU: i7-4558U (Haswell)
This kernel is supposed to have a patch for CVE-2019-14615 and Haswell GPUs are supposed to see a 50% performance reduction. I am not seeing any reduction. Does this kernel have the patch?
Intel Wireless 7260 works, SELinux policy issue (bug # 1782092) present.
No regressions on a ThinkPan T495 (Ryzen 3 with Vega graphics)
Network Card: Dual Band Wireless AC 9461 never works on whole 5.4.x series
AMD Athlon 3000G, CPU soft lock on kernel 5.4.x, didn't happen with 5.3.x.
LGTM, older HP business class PC and Dell XPS 13 8390
