+1 Tested pgrep / pkill with very long command-lines and it works great! However, I did have to remove the igt-gpu-tools RPM from my system, since that declares a dependency on the older version (though I don't see why it can't be updated).
This update has been pushed to testing.
This update can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes

Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.
I upgraded successfully when cpu-x is not installed. When it is installed, same errors as above. Otherwise, works fine. Not sure whether I should give negative of positive karma.
Usually if package affecting other packages is updated, it updates (rebuilds) affected packages as well. Until this is done, karma should be negative.
Problem: package igt-gpu-tools-1.25-1.20200808git9f09772.fc32.x86_64 requires libprocps.so.7()(64bit), but none of the providers can be installed
Same thing was happening with already unpushed igt-gpu-tools-1.25-1.20200818git4e5f76b.fc32.x86_64
no regressions noted
The above cpu-x and igt-gpu-tools are probably due to the soname bump that this contains.
Update seems to be generally functional
works for me
Are there still outstanding problems with this package that prevent it from being sent to stable? I also can't find this package in bodhi for F33.
Nether cpu-x nor igt-gpu-tools has been rebuilt, so I, among others, cannot yet install this update.
tseewald - JFYI, I unpushed the latest igt update to unblock this, if you need an updated igt-gpu-tools I can provide a build but I'm just not sure how to do it along with procps-ng's update. I'm fine with igt-gpu-tools being broken temporarily though, I was planning on pushing an update to fix it once this hit stable.
@lyude I created a buildroot override for this update so cpu-x and igt-gpu-tools can rebuild with it while it is waiting to be pushed to stable.
There's still the issue of there not being a F33 build for this yet, though.
@ctubbsii That should be fine - I honestly just wasn't sure how to workaround updating dependency issues like this, so if you just send me a message (email is $my_username at redhat dot com) when you've got a buildroot override for procps-ng on f33 and I'll start up a corresponding build for igt-gpu-tools
Also, just submitted a bodhi update for f32 that's built against the new procps-ng
@lyude Sorry, I'm not the maintainer for this and don't have permissions to build this for F33, I only created the buildroot override to help you out (and to see if I remembered how to do it). Perhaps @jrybar can build for F33 and create an update (and buildroot override) for that branch?
FWIW the process to create a buildroot override for F33 now is the same as for F32. :-)
@jamatos From what I can tell, there's no build for F33 yet, so one has to be built by the maintainer first:
fedpkg clone procps-ng
fedpkg switch-branch f33
fedpkg merge origin/master
git push origin :
Only then can a buildroot override be made.
@ctubbsii You are right regarding the F33 build, and that is a problem for the updates from F32 to F33.
But then this needs to be solved in the right way for both releases: the procedure needs to be replicated in F32 and F33.
All the dependent packages need to be built and added to this and to the corresponding F33 bodhi updates.
FWIW the list of dependent packages is larger than the one above.
# dnf -q repoquery --disablerepo="*" --enablerepo="*-source" --whatrequires 'pkgconfig(libprocps)' | rev | cut -d/ -f1 | cut -d- -f3- | rev | sort | uniq
@jamatos can anyone do it, or do we need to get in contact with the individual maintainers here? igt-gpu-tools just got autopushed to stable, so we really should get this done sooner then later

This update has been pushed to stable.
Some dependencies are broken due to this package. I think next time, we need to build those packages using buildroot override (or in a side tag). And push them together in bodhi to avoid breaking things.
Whatever, rebuild for
Agree with yanqiyu, it would be good to coordinate better with dependent packages to avoid breakages.
Maintainer of cpu-x has released a build addressing the unannounced soname bump. https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2020-c7d0de1e03
