Cool, nice to see 5.8 branch releases. Shall we rebase to 5.8.5, which includes some upstream fixes?

Work fine for me...
The Default and Performance tests pass OK. AMD 965, x86_64 work station, SSD's > RAID1. Plasma DE, X-server, nVidia GTX 650 (GK107) + nVidia RPM's from Negativo17 (450.66)

Might indeed make sense to supersede with 5.8.5 that came out.

Looks ok for me. Works on baremetal (non UEFI) AMD Ryzen5 3600, Mainboard MSI B450M Mortar Max with prop. nvidia driver from rpmfusion.org (GTX980 card). VirtualBox 6.1.12 from Oracle doesn't work at the moment. Regression test passed (paxtest, selinux-dac-controls and libhugetlbfs skipped).

I have ds2490 usb to 1-wire and two ds1820 (w1_therm) and it looks like there is a problem. It detects only one sensor and gets stuck on it. Where is no w1_slave in /sys can't read temperature and cannot remove w1_therm module.

Same issue since 5.7.17: Using an updated 5.8.4 NFS client, I am unable to list files/directories from a 5.7.15 NFS server (NFS v4.2 / Kerberos mounted /home). The files/directories seem to be accessible if I type in their names, but are not available via ls -l.

This update has been pushed to stable.

Hm, seems it's also failing to resume secondary monitor after turning it off in idle...
