Works for me, the dnfdragora-updater loads fine now and is shown in the panel.

dnfdragora is currently unusable on low-res screens like 1388x768 (except in ncurses mode) because the window height cannot be reduced enough to fit onto the screen. Applies also to previous build 2.1.0-1.fc32, therefore not giving negative karma. See also upstream issue #164.

Works fine here, running the updater from the console shows no errors.
This is on a Plasma DE and the notification icons seems OK. It stays in the panel all the time when there is no updates but I think this is work in progress?
@g6avk On Gnome 3 the icon is hidden when there is no updates - see https://github.com/manatools/dnfdragora/issues/167#issuecomment-706384522
You might want to enable debug logging and shorter updates availability checking interval for tests. However, there could be some other nuances on Plasma.

@szpak OK I enabled the updater debug logging and reduced the interval time and to me everything looks fine with no errors. Maybe it is just a Plasma nuance.
AFAIR there should be something about menu visibility:
I propose to open a new issue upstream as there were some work to make it available also in KDE: https://github.com/manatools/dnfdragora/issues/60 (so the author could be interesting to know that there are some problems).
@szpak I missed that in the logs, mine says:
11:58:10,409 [dnfdragora.updater]{updater.py:356}(DEBUG) Menu visibility is True
@szpak So if I understand this correctly setting hide dnfdragora-update menu in dnfdragora the panel applet should hide when there are no updates?
Since setting this and there are no updates available it is now hidden. I will keep and eye on this. My logs now show:
20:04:30,664 [dnfdragora.updater]{updater.py:356}(DEBUG) Menu visibility is False
