fwupd-1.2.11-2.fc30

FEDORA-2019-cb9dd3e345 created by adamwill 4 years ago for Fedora 30

Manually create /var/cache/fwupd to work around #1757948 (gnome-software failing to work properly on fresh installs). This bug will not affect systems which were installed before fwupd 1.2.11-1.fc30 was stable, installing the update is safe and harmless but won't change anything.

How to install

Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:

sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2019-cb9dd3e345

I can list devices, list updates (no updates), list history. I can't test updating firmware, because I have no update available, though.

This build has fwupd unsigned because @adamwill is not allowed to build signed things or this went to the wrong channel.

[root@crime fedora]# pesign -S -i fwupdx64.efi

certificate address is 0x7f89a1d71198 Content was not encrypted. Content is detached; signature cannot be verified. The signer's common name is Red Hat Test Certificate

This breaks actually applying UEFI fimware updates because fwupd.efi is signed by a test key (person who did the build isn't in the signing ACL) and so secure boot fails when using fwupd.efi :(

then this should be on a blacklist so I can't build it. what am I supposed to do, ask puiterwijk before I build anything?
