works on baremetal Intel i5-3550 with prop. nvidia driver from rpmfusion (GTX980 card), VirtualBox 6.0.10 from Oracle and Gnome-Desktop. Regression test passed (paxtest skipped).
Regression (already in 5.2.5 and 5.1.20):
Contains the same suspend/resume regression as 5.2.5 and 5.1.20, turning the system unable to do I/O or network after resume, on AMD X370 main board with Ryzen 7 1700.
Fedora f30 has an overlay available through fedpkg where the Git log suggests that Fedora reverted that patch, however the exploded Git tree seems behind (which is what I was checking). Will try the 5.2.6 update.
works for me: desktop 16GB Intel i7-3770 CPU, laptop 8GB Intel i5-2520M CPU Lenovo T420 - all using the Mate Desktop Environment (again the desktop is more than 10 times faster than the laptop - yet for 5.2.5, the laptop elap[sed time was approximately the same. Strange that the laptop suddenly take more than 10 times longer!!! )
i7-9700K(UHD Graphics 630): Kernel regression test case passed. Works fine for daily use.
Raspberry Pi 3 B+(aarch64): Kernel regression test case passed.

Note that upstream has chosen to revert the offending patch, see https://bugzilla.kernel.org/show_bug.cgi?id=204413#c12
In order to fix this, revert 5817d78eba34f6c86f5462ae2c5212f80a013357 (relative to upstream Linux stable/linux-5.2.y)
kernel 5.2.7 was just released but i do not know if they reverted 5817d78eba34f6c86f5462ae2c5212f80a013357.
No, they did not revert that patch.

kernel-core-5.2.6-200.fc30.x86_64 seems to work for me, apparently survives two suspend/resume cycles without ill effect.
It does appear to have solved the suspend and restart problems that started with 5.1.20.
Fine on a Carbon X1 gen 6 and a few random arm devices

On Pinebook 1080p (aarch64) freezes hard before initrd. Last working kernel is 5.1.20. Will not add negative karma since Intel is likely not affect.
WFM. Tested on desktop and laptop. No regressions noted.
Adding negative karma for aarch64 pinebook, since there is lots of positive karma from Intel.

We should also start pushing out 5.2.7 which includes swapgs mitigation.
BZ for pinebook issue: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1738380 kernel-5.3.0 from rawhide works again. 5.1.x was working. 5.2.x immediately freezes after loading.
LGTM. GTX 1060.
Thinkpad X250, no regressions
ThinkPad X1 Carbon 6th
