bodhi3-3.14.0-1.fc30 and bodhi-4.0.2-1.fc30

FEDORA-2019-352078fd2b created by bowlofeggs 5 years ago for Fedora 30

Update to Bodhi 4.0.2. This is a major backwards incompatible release, and was approved by FESCo as Bodhi 4 is needed to talk to Fedora Infrastructure's Bodhi server. A new bodhi3 compat package is included in this update for users who need to use the Bodhi 3 client to talk to other Bodhi servers.

How to install

Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:

sudo dnf upgrade --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2019-352078fd2b

doesn't fix fedora-easy-karma

BZ#1714925 KeyError: 'anonymous'
User Icon bowlofeggs commented & provided feedback 5 years ago

Hmm, that's surprising. My first thought was to wonder if f-e-k is using the Python 2 bindings, but those are only in F29 and this is F30. @kparal, was it the same traceback as before (with the KeyError: 'anonymous')?

In any case, I'll remove that bz from this update.

User Icon bowlofeggs commented & provided feedback 5 years ago

Actually, I'm gonna hold off on removing that BZ until I get more info about the problem.

User Icon bowlofeggs commented & provided feedback 5 years ago

@kparal - I am now convinced that this doesn't fix that BZ and wrote about it in a comment there. I'll remove it from this update and from the corresponding F29 one.

It does not allow me to comment on this update with the client:

bodhi updates comment FEDORA-2019-352078fd2b "testing the bodhi client"
You must provide a comment author

With fedora-easy-karma I see that this is a BodhiClientException.

Bodhi is disabling automatic push to stable due to negative karma. The maintainer may push manually if they determine that the issue is not severe.

I was able to send this comment with the Bodhi CLI. I believe the problem might be that it only works if you were already logged in, or if you used the username flag.

It is still a problem with only the user flag:

bodhi updates comment --user till FEDORA-2019-352078fd2b "Upstream bug report for comment problem: https://github.com/fedora-infra/bodhi/issues/3291"

This update has reached 7 days in testing and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes

Note this update breaks bodhi updates download for updates containing more than one build: only packages from one build will be downloaded, then the command will quit (but exit code will be 0). This is my fault, sorry. I'm sending a fix.
