This update has apparently broken the suspension functionality of my laptop worse than it already was. (Pre-existing bug #1480602 had a workaround of supplying "sudo modprobe -r rmi_smbus" to force unload that module prior to suspension. Now even that doesn't work. I don't get anything useful diagnostic-wise at all in a standard dmesg.
Given the security focus of this update, I'm not going to give negative karma.
