Sadly I cannot use nouveau on my main box anymore due to too many hard lockups. I don't think it is kernel related though but with xorg-x11-drv-nouveau.

No new issues, rt_cmos error fixed. HW: Intel Haswell machine.

fixed nvmem error, but now overall fps in linux has dropped. Nvidia Proprietary 396.24 on Gtx 970 4gig DDR5. fps dropped almost 50% and if I go back to 4.17.2 i get back to normal fps.
