Works fine.
no regressions noted
I am using it as a Quake-like drop-down terminal and this update breaks it. It does not react to a keypress and you can just see it flickering.
@hannes: I use the terminal in the same way (drop-down). Can you completely exit the drop-down terminal and re-launch it with keypress? I saw that happen in one of my installations but never saw it in three others (including a VM). So, I am not sure what triggers it and the flickering went away after I re-launched the drop-down and have not been able to reproduce it ever since.
If you are able to reproduce the flickering after relaunching drop-down and somehow get a trace, please file a report. It would be very helpful.
@nonamedotc: I am able to reproduce it consistently. I can start it via keypress once, it appears just fine and then I can hide it again with a keypress. After that it won't come back and only flickers. Just need to check how to get a trace of it.
@hannes: please do file a bug about it. I am still unable to reproduce this. So, any information you provide would be very useful. Thanks for testing.
@hannes: I was finally able to reproduce this consistently on Fedora 28. I have filed a upstream bug report.

I am going to leave this update in testing until the bug is resolved.
@nonamedotc: Thanks a lot, I was trying to get something with gdb, but I didn't get useful results. Thanks for the bugreport.
