I can't compile ruby plugins with gcc from this update. It complains about annobin version mismatch:

is that whole annobin stuff really worth the ongoing trouble left and right and how can one completly optout?
That's why annobin should just be build from the gcc source package ...
"But gcc takes so long to build, an then annobin updates will take forever", you might say. Maybe that would be a good thing? There should be disincentives to changing a critical piece of infrastructure such as the C compiler.
Also, this update almost being pushed to stable unless I hadn't stopped bodhi makes clear how hilariously broken our process is. There should absolutely be update gating on "gcc can compile with fedora's default build flags" ...
