wfm: desktop 16GB Intel i7-3770 CPU, laptop 8GB Intel i5-2520M CPU Lenovo T420 - all using the Mate Desktop Environment, both passed the regressions tests (interestingly, the slower laptop ran performance tests slightly faster than the desktop!!! 9m01s versus 9m44s)
