Works for me, fixes #1543140

Kmail broke my column configuration on the folder view. And it won't remember my config when I change it.

It's possible the columns thing may be related to qt5-qtbase-5.9.4-3 https://bodhi.fedoraproject.org/updates/FEDORA-2018-c6489812c9 , are you testing with that or qt5-qtbase-5.9.4-2 ?

FWIW, I can confirm its a QT5 issue not the current PIM updates. Rolling back to qt5-qtbase-5.9.4-1.fc27.x86_64 fixes the columns issue with Kontact/Kmail

The new builds - qt5-qtbase-5.9.4-4.fc27 fixes the columns issue.
