Works for me..

Works fine in general, but whatsapp web stopped working for me a few days ago and this update did not fix it.
It says that chrome36+ is required. How would one check what version of chrome/chromium is provided with qt5webengine?

I believe qtwebengine-5.11.x is based on chromium v59
I may be wrong there, I'm finding some conflicting information (maybe 65?), but point is that it's definitely newer than 36.
This update has reached the stable karma threshold and can be pushed to stable now if the maintainer wishes.
I had thought so. 36 is very old.
I get the same message in qutebrowser and falkon, so it should be a qtwebengine issue. I'll check upstream and file an issue if one isn't filed already.
Cheers!
works great
For anyone else having trouble: setting the user agent to the one used by chrome fixes it: "Mozilla/5.0 (X11; Fedora; Linux x86_64) AppleWebKit/537.36 (KHTML, like Gecko) Chrome/65.0.3325.162 Safari/537.36"
