Update to WebKitGTK+ 2.16.2:

  • Update user agent quirks to make Youtube and new Google login page work.
  • Fix rendering of animated PNGs.
  • Fix playing of some live streams.
  • Update several web inspector icons.
  • Fix several crashes and rendering issues.

Confirmed that this fixes Google authentication using gnome-online-accounts (bug #1446817).

Still having issues with Google accounts, "online accounts."

When adding a Google account, after you choose one and it takes you to the "allow" page, for "allow gnome to do this," then it either freezes or finishes and still has the account as "credentials have expired."

What to do?

I still am having the same problem as well. It keeps saying "credentials have expired."

@anonymous, try running this command from the Terminal: goa-daemon --replace You may need to logout and log back in.

If it works there is a workaround at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1340203#c27 Developers are currently working on this.

@anonymous, I forgot to mention that you need to use the full path for goa-daemon. In the Terminal you would enter: /usr/libexec/goa-daemon --replace &
