Same as with Kernel 4.10.5, I can't get past the gdm login screen without the whole system freezing up and forcing me to restart and boot into a working kernel

No issues on skylake or with VM. Seems mildly snapper on my flex4
I have the same problem as the other anonymous poster. Login into KDE(Plasma) with nouveau driver locks up. I can provide more info if you can not easily reproduce it.

@hreindl: My hardware is an i7-6700HQ with Intel integrated Graphics as I do not use the nVidia 1060 in my laptop. I'm logging in using Wayland and Gnome on Xorg and both lock up
