iconbar aligned on the right side (at least on KDE) - do you kidding me - the whole day clicking into empty spaces or when i want to delete a mail on 'compose new message' because of that joke
Not kidding: works perfectly fine here (also KDE Plasma), I have no significant UI changes here. Icons just look as before.

with a "flexible spacer" or however that translates to english the toolbar starts on the left border again...
@hreindl Did you settle your difficulties? If not, please file a bug for that.
as said: adding a spacer after the last icon fixes the alignment and let start the toolbar as expected at the left border instead right aligned - however a strange behavior change
