Like all kernels >= 4.10 this kernel exhibits #1482561 on one of my PIII w/ RTL8139 NIC.

I fired up an F25 VM and found (as expected) #1462381 (failure to boot if Plymouth is enabled) is still an issue. (Regression against 4.11.12, which is still the basis of comparison.)

I understand QXL is broken, we fixed one issue and that opened another. The fact is, upstream QXL seems too busy to care at the moment. I want to get it fixed myself, but regardless of karma, I will push a security update that can impact multiple users, regardless of QXL. There are plenty of workarounds for QXL at the moment. Please don't give any more down karma for QXL, it will be ignored. I hope to find a fix for QXL soon. I thought 4.12.5 was pushed for F25, it needs to be. This update would fix a local root vulnerability currently in F25.
