@kparal based on that thread (and specifically this comment) replacing tls-remote=<...> with verify-x509-name:<...> in the .ovpn file should work for you too.
@dimitrisk: Yes, but not all users are able to edit their openvpn config files, even if they were informed about this issue (and most will not be). This is not something acceptable during a stable release cycle. Either we need to provide an automatic way of translating the arguments, or we need to wait with latest openvpn for Fedora 26.

This breaks my VPN connection. See #1421241. Please don't push (and also disable karma autopush)! Thanks.
limb edited this update.
WFM, F25 client
Removes the --tls-remote option. This is not something that's tolerable for stable updates.
Also have the issue @kparal reported
seems to work for me.
Works great! LGTM! =)
Works fine
This update has been unpushed.
Just a (re)statement that this works for me, including the server name feature with the latest nm-openvpn build from updates-testing.
Can we get this (re) pushed please?
@dimitrisk: It might work for you, but it doesn't for others. See #1421241 to follow the progress on this.
