But inteldrmfb is limiting FB to 1920x1080 instead to max 2560x1440?
Seen no regressions on x86_64 (Atom based server, T450s, VM).
WFM, but no karma yet - I want to try a few more times to reproduce #1456596. One cycle so far hasn't reproduced the problem. I see some changes upstream that seem relevant.
WFM!
But when on docking and closed lid, after switching from UEFI fb - that sets resolution to 2560x1440, to inteldmfb it goes to 1920x1080 which is incorrect. It was working on 4.10 kernels!
passes atomic-host-tests in bodhi per PR testing: http://artifacts.ci.centos.org/sig-atomic/expires-14-days/FEDORA-2017-541c2b2a47/
LGTM.
No regressions noted on x86_64 and i686 PAE. (No relevant fixes to prior regressions noted, either.)
This update fixes #1430259 for the Fedora 25 branch, too.
Works for me, x86_64, GNOME (CPU: Intel Core2 Quad Q8400, RAM: 8 GiB, GPU: AMD RV635).
first kernel for a longer time, which works ok with laptop/closed lid and external screens
^^ True, but FB on Intel X260 is not setting external monitor resolution to 24560x1440 now?
works for me
