This issue has been discussed at length in #1430259 and references therein. Kernels later than 4.10.9 are affected. Upstream has introduced this regression and is aware of it.
The 4.10.17-200 does not detect any sound cards on my computer. All I see is a 'Dummy Device'. No HDMI out or on-board sound cards detected. The previous kernel version works OK.
Works On Dell 7250
