Heiko, as written in the bug, Gedit is b0rken at upstream for several reasons with python plugins. About nautilus, this must be due to my (wrong) python3 port. I am so irritated with that package! Of course, patches are always welcome. Unfortunately, there are no good unit tests available, so we've to test everything manually after each update and I do not have this time to do it for me alone.
