While the update adds the missing dependency on texlive-dvipng, it is now missing a new dependency on python3-cycler for python3-matplotlib; probably likewise on python2-cycler for python2-matplotlib. Only after installing module cycler.py, sample scripts like pcolormesh_levels.py can be executed without failure.
