This update has been submitted for testing by stransky.
On my system (ivy-bridge, F25 x86_64), under Gnome/Xorg Firefox crashes when previewing a book on amazon: e.g. https://www.amazon.com/Kite-Runner-Khaled-Hosseini/dp/159463193X/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1480199395&sr=8-1&keywords=kite+runner choose "look inside" and scroll down (with touchpad). On my system Firefox crashes each time.
By the wy: the crash is independent of add-ons. This is the error message in the shell:
(firefox:10710): Gdk-ERROR **: The program 'firefox' received an X Window System error. This probably reflects a bug in the program. The error was 'BadAccess (attempt to access private resource denied)'. (Details: serial 1657 error_code 10 request_code 130 (MIT-SHM) minor_code 1) (Note to programmers: normally, X errors are reported asynchronously; that is, you will receive the error a while after causing it. To debug your program, run it with the GDK_SYNCHRONIZE environment variable to change this behavior. You can then get a meaningful backtrace from your debugger if you break on the gdk_x_error() function.) Trace/Breakpoint ausgelöst (Speicherabzug geschrieben)
Addendum: With Gnome/Wayland the error also happens, with essentially the same error message.

@dirkk: tried that Amazon look inside test, but I didn't get the crash (T450s, wayland). Just FYI.
So, a +1 from me for now.
works for me
no regressions noted, especially tried to reproduce the previously reported issue, (T450s, Xorg)
