atomic-devmode-0.3-1.fc23

FEDORA-2016-431e295661 created by jlebon 9 years ago for Fedora 23

This package installs a Developer Mode boot option useful for trying out an Atomic Host without having to set up a cloud-init source. When booted, the system automatically logs in and starts the Cockpit container. This is a new Fedora package. Initial package review request: https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1297552

How to install

Updates may require up to 24 hours to propagate to mirrors. If the following command doesn't work, please retry later:

sudo dnf install --refresh --advisory=FEDORA-2016-431e295661 \*

There are two ways to test this package:

From the image

Download the latest qcow2 image from here, boot it up, and select the "Developer Mode" boot menu option.

From an existing Atomic Host

Rebase onto my repo, which contains this package:

# ostree remote add local http://jlebon.fedorapeople.org/atomic-devmode/repo --no-gpg-verify
# rpm-ostree rebase local:fedora-atomic/f23/x86_64/docker-host

Reboot into the new deployment, then to add the devmode option, simply run

# /usr/libexec/atomic-devmode/bootentry add

You should then be able to reboot and select the "Developer Mode" option.

qcow2 image pulled docker layers, gave a random root pw, all within tmux.
