Didn't install neither yum or python2-dnf. fedora-easy-karma fails to start.
it works for me, but I had yum and python2-dnf installed
Look Good to Me
Traceback (most recent call last):
File "/usr/bin/fedora-easy-karma", line 47, in module
ImportError: No module named yum
It is a missing dependency error, It was resolved after installing yum by command 'dnf install yum'
25 karma and 4 months, please do something.
The python code of this update works, but the metadata is not correct, leading to dep issues in some cases. This is because of bug https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1304355 - since this update contains only metadata changes iirc it is not useful to be pushed to stable afaics. If bug 1304355 is fixed, it will be a useful stable update. Another option would be to just hardly depend on python2-dnf until it can be ported to python3.
@till, I'd recommend to retract this update until bug #1304355 is fixed. There's no benefit having this in updates-testing and waiting. Even better would be to submit a f-e-k update with hard deps fixed until that bug is resolved.
Didn't install neither yum or python2-dnf. fedora-easy-karma fails
Works for me
@till, does this fix the problem? https://email@example.com/thread/PVQH2X6R5WBTIHTZ5NCTIYBLD3PJ6235/
Can we finally push this update to stable, please?
@kparal: It should, currently it does not on the Fedora 24 test machine. Maybe the mirrors need to catch up first.
still complain of dnf not found

Since weak dependencies work fine now on F24, this issue is resolved. Thank you!
