after more testing, I can confirm that there's image corruption in Firefox after
a short time, very visible e.g. in maps.google.com. once that happens, I get
corruption even in other apps, like nautilus or gnome-terminal, as before this
update. so it seems this hasn't really fixed anything, just delayed it slightly.
After applying this update I had no pointer on screen with F22 MATE-Compiz
64-bit. Intel i3-3110M HD4000 graphics. Rolling back to previous release
restored pointer.
With this update, my mouse pointer is not visible any more. The mouse is there,
I got all the mouseover and hover effects, but I can't see the pointer. A
downgrade to the previous version helped.
This update is currently being pushed to the Fedora 22 stable updates repository.

This fixes the heavy graphical corruption on Thinkpad T500.
It also fixes the corruption for me.

It's better than before the update, but I just found out that the corruption still persists in Firefox.

Works perfectly in Plasma 5.
When combined with kernel-4.0.5-300.fc22, the screen corruption is less obvious. So I revert my karma, together it's an improvement to before.

Working fine for me with Intel i5-3230M HD4000 graphics. (I never saw the issue with older versions of this package reported by others, though.)
This update has reached the stable karma threshold and will be pushed to the stable updates repository
