Works fine.

I don't know what else gone wrong in today's update but I got this menuentry in grub2.cfg menuentry '(¬<9b>ä<' --class fedora --class gnu-linux --class gnu --class os $menuentry_id_option 'gnulinux-simple-4e1dad3e-98ca-4c7e-b54f-9c36ad5a1555' {
I have the same garbled grub entry, but it appears to be running fine.
After running a grub2-mkconfig, the grub entry is back to normal.
The kernel itself doesn't control the grub entries. It just calls kernel-install. If there are issues with how the entries are being generated, then they would be in either the systemd or grubby packages.
I had a weird grub entry after a fedup to f22 too, but that isn't a kernel issue. Kernel works well here.
works fine
works for me
