elpa build succeeds and testsuite passes.
Just a heads up - since 3.1.4-2 was never pushed to F22, this is now a soname change and every mpich user will need to get rebuilt against it.
If it's a soname bump, then I would say it should either be pushed together with all rebuilds, or kept for F23+ only. A quick repoquery indicates that the following packages have runtime deps on mpich: boost cp2k dl_poly elk elpa espresso freefem++ ga gmsh gpaw gromacs hdf5 mathgl mpi4py mpich netcdf netcdf-cxx4 netcdf-fortran netgen-mesher nwchem orsa paraview pypar Ray scalapack scorep scotch
Sorry for letting this slip. It's not a .so bump, but a silent ABI break. I think this should be pushed and dependent packages rebuilt. I'll start doing that tomorrow. If you think it's not a good idea, please let me know.

Would be nice to merge the elpa update in here too to make sure it all goes out in one update. Comparing the list of new packages to the repoquery above, looks like netcdf-cxx4 and netcdf-fortran are possibly missing?

Yeah, elpa and scalapack update should be merged. But I didn't see a way to edit it. I'll try to add them here and see what happens :)

Taskotron: upgradepath test FAILED on noarch. Result log: https://taskotron.fedoraproject.org/taskmaster//builders/x86_64/builds/68297/steps/runtask/logs/stdio (results are informative only)
Automatic push to stable based on karma has been disabled for this update due to failure of an AutoQA test. Update submitter, please check the AutoQA test result and see if there is a valid problem to be fixed here, and fix it if so. If the failure is a mistake on AutoQA's part, you can re-enable the automatic push feature for this update if you like, or push it stable manually once it reaches the requirements under the Updates Policy.
upgradepath test failed because julia and paraview in rawhide (f23) are older than the ones being pushed here, so the concern is only for rawhide and this can still be pushed to f22.

Paraview has a a problem with updated protobufs [1], and julia with updated llvm (afaik). So it might take a while for them to get updated, and we shouldn't wait forever. But I'll let this sit for a few more days / karma. It's a huge update after all. [1] https://www.mail-archive.com/paraview@paraview.org/msg23629.html
