In xdg-open.in, the last parameter needs to be "$target" not "$arg": BAD: 224 [ -d "$d" ] && search_desktop_file "$default" "$d" "$arg" GOOD: 224 [ -d "$d" ] && search_desktop_file "$default" "$d" "$target" Without the change, the target is lost if the code is triggered, because 0008-xdg-open-safer-xdg-open-BR89130.patch renamed arg to target incompletely.
