Unfortunately python3 support was not enabled in this build, so for python3 apps like Pitivi you're still getting pygobject 3.16.1; see comment #3 in bug 1236936
nekohayo, please make sure you have the new python3-gobject package.
kalev: yep, it's already installed
Python3 IBus engine still works fine. Also, I have python3-gobject-3.16.2-1.fc22.x86_64, so nekohayo, you're missing something.
LGTM =)
bochecha: ok, it works if I pull both python3-gobject and pygobject3 from updates-testing; shouldn't those two packages have been pulled together automatically as dependencies though?
@nekohayo: no. There is no dependency between the two, they are completely independent packages. They are the same module, for two different Python stacks (Python 2 and Python 3). If one had a dep on the other, it would be impossible to move everything to Python3 and not install Python at all.
They just happen to be built from the same source. ;)
Ah I see inside the build that the various packages are actually bundled together indeed... so +1, Move zig!!
