ThinkPad T510, black screen after Gnome start. Cannot switch to any VT. Even
after ssh into the box and a reboot, nothing happens. Power cycle only.
Reverting to 3.17.8-300.fc21.x86_64 gets Gnome up again. Possibly related to bug
Using an old P4 with a HD3850 AGP. The First boot (2 or 3 days ago) of this
kernel stopped and I had to hard reset the computer. All other boots (4 or 5
with the boot today) were flawless (no problems). Did not test more though.
Just wanted to add that vdpau works with mpv for me with the HD3850 AGP. So the
"no GPU accelleration" and "no video output in vlc and mplayer" thing could be
another problem.

Bug #1178975 appears fixed (although my reproducer is not much reliable).
Bug #1178975 is fixed for me, could not trigger it anymore with the test program discussed in the bug report

Laptop (Lenovo T61 with i965 gfx) is almost unusable with this kernel - Gnome freezes up after 5 minutes, can't switch to VT after this happens.
Should add this was with a 32-bit kernel.
does not boot here, standard desktop with amd phenom and radeon card.
karma: -1
similar problem as moggers87: my old intel laptop (gm965) already locked up twice.
Same for me (as moggers87) with Lenovo X61 :(
Fixes bug 1115713 for me on netbook with Atom integrated video and i915 drivers.
Boots successfully only about 50% of the time. Otherwise, locks up, unresponsive to most keyboard input. Only hardware poweroff helps.
No new problems
Been running this on for a few days now no issues on desktop pc (using radeon gpu) and intel based laptop.
Bug 1183232 - [regression] no GPU accelleration in 3.18, no video output in vlc and mplayer
karma: -1
i686 hp nx9105 no regressions
everything works as before - no issues noticed
Didn't noticed anything wrong across several machines, +1
boots fine for me an no problems noted
USB3 ports are broken with this update on my machine, see Bug 1183289

Lenovo T410 (i915), starting X ends with blank screen, hw poweroff required. Reverting to older kernel (3.17.8-300.fc21) fixes the problem.
For everyone having issues with i915 graphics, please file a bug. If you already have, please note it in your comments.
