udev will not crash if an invalid log level is given on the kernel command line or in the config file.
An error in the kernel-install script which caused it to exit with the message "Could not determine the kernel command line parameters" is fixed.
Journal flushing was changed to by synchronous, so correct permissions are assigned to journal files, and the journal can be read by users in the systemd-journal and adm groups.
systemd-journald-flush.service hang caused a by a race with systemd-journald.service start is fixed by changing the latter to Type=notify.

Breaks starting of dev-mqueue.mount and iptables.service with SELinux enforcing. The upstream fix to backport is "shared: create files even if the SELinux policy has no context for them".

Both my F21 systems fail to poweroff now, they reboot instead. Both are UEFI installations.
The reboot-instead-of-shutdown bug is https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1161100 , it does indeed appear to be caused by this update (reported reported that downgrading to -8 makes it work again).
