No it's Fedora 41 only.
Direct koji download works for me, not sure what may be the problem.
Please file that at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ and CC me there. Thanks.
OGG video playback was removed by Mozilla, only audio was left.
New builds are on the way with updated libyuv fix. You can try Mozilla binaries directly for the OGG file playback: https://fedoraproject.org/wiki/How_to_debug_Firefox_problems#Testing_Mozilla_binaries
The update is blocked by https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=2309203
This may be caused by X11 -> Wayland switch. Can you try to run firefox-x11?
@jrsanders can you try to download the package from koji directly and install it by rpm and check which of there dependencies are from Firefox itself? Looks a bit weird to me, for instance why samba is required?
/usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.mozilla.firefox.service file wa smoved to extra package but I'd need to investigate how to install the gnome/non-gnome .desktop file properly.
Is there a way to permanently disable this DBus service? Tried to mask it, but then Firefox wont start.
You need to set DBusActivatable=false at /usr/share/applications/org.mozilla.firefox.desktop and then you can remove /usr/share/dbus-1/services/org.mozilla.firefox.service file.
Let's push this one and figure out the DBus stuff later.
I may consider to move it to extra package to avoid installation for desktops without it.
/usr/lib64/firefox/firefox --dbus-service /usr/bin/firefox is Firefox DBus service used as broker for Gnome search provider. It implements and provides org.freedesktop.Application DBus interface (https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=1894912).
Can we please move it to stable? It's needed for Firefox 125.0 build. Thanks.
Please file the CPU issue at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ and CC me there. Thanks.
Please file Firefox bugs at https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/ under Widget/Gtk component. Will look at it there. Thanks.
