Still having issues with Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller not working on Dell Latitude 3350. I get the following errors when booting:

[ 1.972457] pci 0000:00:1c.2: Error enabling bridge (-16), continuing
[ 1.973304] r8169 0000:03:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): enable failure

This is not an issue with other distros. Bugzilla #1409801 should be re-opened for Fedora 26.

Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet Controller doesn't work on Dell Latitude 3350. I get the following errors when booting:

[ 1.972457] pci 0000:00:1c.2: Error enabling bridge (-16), continuing
[ 1.973304] r8169 0000:03:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): enable failure

This is not an issue on CentOS 7.4 or Ubuntu 16.04.3. Bugzilla #1409801 needs to be re-opened for Fedora 26.

Dell Latitude 3350 shows the following errors on boot and as a result the Ethernet adapter (Realtek RTL8111/8168/8411 PCI Express Gigabit Ethernet) doesn't appear in GNOME Network settings:

[ 1.972457] pci 0000:00:1c.2: Error enabling bridge (-16), continuing
[ 1.973304] r8169 0000:03:00.0 (unnamed net_device) (uninitialized): enable failure

Bugzilla #1409801 should be re-opened for Fedora 26.

  • Passed kernel regression tests.

  • Works on Dell Latitude 3350.
  • GNOME Settings crashes immediately after adding Google or Microsoft Live online accounts. It does not crash when changing other settings.

  • Works well on Lenovo X220.

@anonymous, I forgot to mention that you need to use the full path for goa-daemon. In the Terminal you would enter: /usr/libexec/goa-daemon --replace &

@anonymous, try running this command from the Terminal: goa-daemon --replace You may need to logout and log back in.

If it works there is a workaround at https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=1340203#c27 Developers are currently working on this.
